Kathleen Bean
Kathleen is an artist with 14 years of related work experience. She has retired from her career as an art teacher and is excited to focus on studio work. Her emphasis is on sculptural ceramics.
She has an extensive art centered education and graduated Florida Gulf Coast University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Art Degree, Liberal Studies with an Art Concentration.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Art teacher August 2004 to 2016-Pinewoods Elementary, Estero, Florida. Art Teacher August 2009-January 2010- James Stephens International Academy (Middle School), Fort Myers, Florida.

Chas Bean
Chas Bean has been passionate about pottery since he first started to work with clay in 1969.
He taught ceramics at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Massachusetts in 1975.
Together with Kathleen, Chas established Joshua’s Place – Studio and Gallery in Hyanis on Cape Cod in 1975.
He has since participated in numerous shows in New England and Florida and hopes to pursue his passion full time as he nears retirement.
